The last section is an attempt to apply this toolkit to several issues. It makes possible to put several well-known sociological, legal, military etc. theories into a uniform framework and see the logic of Western European vs. Russian institutional development. It looks promising as a tool for field research on social groups’ culture. It also seems capable of explaining the difference between the Eastern Orthodox and the Catholic/Protestant theological dogmatics, as well as some specifics of Russian literature.
