ARTICLE TITLE: The Statute of the Russian Orthodox Church: is it Acceptable to Identify the ROC and the OCR?

ABSTRACT: The author says that, from a historical point of view, the modern Russian Orthodox Church can be considered the successor of the pre-revolutionary Orthodox Russian Church only somewhat conventional. From a legal point of view, there is no continuity of the ROC with ORC, as evidenced by the analysis of the provisions of the current Charter of the ROC.
